Easy Ham and Cheese Quiche

Okay, may I just start by saying that no one should take cooking advice from me. I don’t know how to cook anything and I’m a complete novice.

But I enjoy it.

So here we go!


For this recipe, I used:

  • 6 eggs
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • 4 slices of honey ham, shredded
  • 1/2 cup of grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of sour cream
  • green onion to taste
  • 1 store bought pie crust
  • Cajun seasoning to taste (I use Slap Ya Mama)

I preheated the oven to 350 degrees. I combined and whisked the eggs and the milk together in a separate bowl. In another bowl, I combined the ham, cheese, sour cream, green onions and Cajun seasoning. Once the pie crust was fully baked, I poured the dry ingredients in first. I then covered the dry ingredients with the egg/milk mixture.


I let that bad boy bake in the oven for about 45 minutes. I think. You see, this is where I’m a bad cook because my cooking times are never absolute. I definitely blame my mother for that. Whenever I would ask when something needed to be taken out of the oven as a child, she would reply when it’s done.


For completely whinging the entire recipe, I think it came out fairly well. There were no complaints in my house!
